A Spirit of Sonship

Romans 8:15
"For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, 'Abba, Father.'"

This verse has to be one of the most encouraging I have read in weeks. By the Holy Spirit, we no longer have to be afraid. And He drives us to the Heavenly Father.

That is amazing.

Addendum: I received an e-mail from a very good friend earlier tonight. I have no clue how she could tell that I've been going through a really difficult time right now, but... well, read on.

Have an excellent night. Hope you are well and managing to keep relaxed and at peace. Remember that the Bible tells us "Do not be anxious about anything." God is in control and can handle the big and small things in our hearts and lives. Be encouraged to know he's got it handled!

Now THAT'S the Holy Spirit at work.
