Wow, what a day
Telling my student at West Middle School goodbye. I hate saying goodbye to students. Ending field placements is TOUGH.
Being sick is no fun, and losing my last voice lesson is a bit scary. If nothing else, though, I feel reassured that I've learned enough that I can discern what I need to work on.
I presented my senior research paper (what I have so far). For having no time to do a practice run or even time it, things went very well. My audience seemed attentive and interested, Dr. Randel looked pleased, and the other attending faculty from the music department seemed to be pleased as well. I was particularly glad Dr. Husbands from the Religion Dept. was there to respond to my paper-I have another idea to write into my final submission!
Walgreens on Riley was closed. A tanker truck crashed somewhere, leaked something, and caused an evacuation. I couldn't get my medicine and got thrown into a wild goose chase at the other one in a scenario taken straight from a movie. Fun stuff.
Madrigals Feasts. We're almost ready, and they're going to be fun, as always.
And I got an e-mail tonight. I'm student teaching... HERE IN HOLLAND?!?!?
YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Goodnight to all. I sleep with a smile on my face.
