What is one song that has affected your life and why?
What is one song that has affected your life and why?One song? Only ONE? This is a tough one since I love a lot of songs, as do most people. A big one would be "Be Still My Soul," which has been a comfort countless times when I've felt afraid, overwhelmed, and alone. Catharina von Schlegel skillfully wrote some powerful words to Jean Sibelius' music that still get me every time. One recent song that has challenged me is Keith Getty's "In Christ Alone," in whom we put our everything. Another would probably be "Beautiful One" by Tim Hughes (known to many probably by Jeremy Camp's recordings). It 's extremely simple, which some criticize, but I think that is part of its charm because its point is simple: no one can fathom the greatness of God, but we still can't help but sing to Him.

There's a good song heard (I don't remember what it was called) where the song went
Be still. . .and know. . .that I am God.
Over and over again pretty much. It was a gregorian chant type of thing.
