Teaching... yeah, not a cakewalk

Teaching is hard. I love it and I'm learning, but it takes so much practice.

I'm just glad the Studs were a gracious audience to me, especially after a rough night at Collegium. Community is wonderful and I'm glad we're emphasizing it, but... stepping into the open and being vulnerable is even harder than teaching. It really had me frightened. Far more so than having to stand in front of a choir while Dr. Richmond and Mr. DeBoer watch my every technique.

Thankfully, I was surrounded by Brothers whom I can trust. And they even appreciated what I had to say. It meant something.

And I know I'll get better at teaching music. Eventually.

God is faithful.
