Pushed to my knees

Lifeview paper down, research paper to go. And teaching at my placement. And the men's choral festival.

Oh gosh, that's an awful lot. Is it Thanksgiving yet, anyone?

Ms. Sopha's advice keeps popping up in my head when I face a ton of stuff: "Well, just peel one potato at a time." It's so colloquial, but it hits home.

I go to meet my (hopefully) student teaching placement tomorrow. I wish I wasn't so nervous-all I'm doing according to the teacher is observing a few classes, meeting some students, and then conversing with my mentor teacher. It's simple enough... isn't it?

I'm running on empty. I definitely won't make it on my own between everything I have to do. But in a way, that's good. It's putting me on my knees.

I will trust in You, Father.
