So, about that election...

The Republican Party got its butt kicked on Nov. 7 and they deserved it. They had the chance to lead our country well and they blew it. Under its watch, we had yet another government agency created, spending skyrocketed, and something tells me that the party has some corruption that needs to be cleaned up.

Don't get any ideas that I think the Democrats are going to do any better. I refused to support Jennifer Granholm's re-election because I didn't agree with her on a lot of major issues and as far as I'm concerned, she as our governor didn't get enough, if anything, done to improve our economy.

I've just had it with the major parties... anyone else agree?

Yeah, I'm with you. I wish we could have more parties, ones that suited more of our viewpoints. The problem with that is then no one party ever has a majority.

Personally, I'm kinda glad the democrats won this time around because it will force President Bush and the democracts to compromise. I remember during the Clinton Administraion when the Legislative and Executive branches were split. I remember the days they fought about the budget and the capitol closed on a few occasions. But I think the American people were better for it - the forced compromise that is.

I'm not looking forward to the 2008 campaign...uggg
