Indescribable

I don't care if you're sick of reading this. It still renders me speechless to FEEL God's closeness. Here's what I've noticed lately.

-Nik's simple-yet-incredible advice during a spiritual desert: "Tyler, go take some time to be alone." Sure enough, I heard the same thing from Paul Boersma at Chapel on Monday on listening to God's voice. I think it's working.
-A quick dinner at the Kletz shared with Pete over Matthew 5 and how do you teach it to a Bible study. I really like the idea of how we're supposed to be a light in the darkness.
-Something occurred to me during the Bible Studs on Monday night. We accept Jesus in our hearts and say that He's inside, but Paul tells us in Romans 13 to clothes ourselves with Him as well. It made me think-if we truly do this, then our own identity, inside and outside, recedes as Christ's comes forward. We should be seen by others as Christ before ourselves. Kinda crazy, yet sort of a no-brainer at the same time.

I'm trying. I'm trying to tune myself...
