There's XVIII Wheels on a Big Rig and they're rollin' down Zion's Walls?
Okay, so I get bored easily and like stealing material from other sites. This time, Alex is the source. However, this was interesting since it concerns my music library.
Sort songs by title:
First: 18 Wheels on a Big Rig by Heywood Banks (can you count to 18 in Roman numerals that fast?! Oh... there's I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XI, XII, XIII, XIV, XV, XVI, XVII, XVIII wheels on a big rig!)
Last: Zion's Walls by Aaron Copland
Shortest: What We Have Learned by the folks behind VeggieTales (all of 23 seconds)
Longest: Leonora Overture No. 3 by Ludwig van Beethoven (it's a long one, almost 14 minutes!)
Sort by album:
First: Blueberry Hill by Fats Domino (must have been a transfer from my brother's mp3s, can't say I've listened to it)
Last: Peace in the Valley by Elvis Presley & the Jordanaires (another transfer...)
Top ten most played songs:
1. Lux Aurumque by Eric Whitacre (it gets a TON of playing)
2. Rejoice in the Lord Alway by Stephen Surk
3. O Magnum Mysterium by Cristobal Mórales
4. Oh Follow, Follow On! by Clement Janequin
5. Magnificat by Herbert Howells
6. Nunc Dimittis by Brad Richmond (yes, my voice teacher... plus, you can't listen to the Magnificat without the Nunc Dimittis... it's like toast without butter!)
7. Daemon Irrepit Callidus by György Orbán
8. Rondeau (from Suite de Symphonies) by Jean-Joseph Mouret
9. Now is the Month of Maying by Thomas Morley
10. O Fortuna (from Carmina Burana) by Carl Orff
Type in the following search terms (one at a time, please) and see how many songs come up.
"Sex": no hits!
"Death": 4 hits: Death of Tybalt (from Romeo and Juliet Suite No. 1) by Sergei Prokofiev, Death of the Firstborn (from The Prince of Egypt soundtrack), O Death by Ralph Stanley (made famous in O Brother, Where Art Thou?), and The Untimely Death of Brad (?) by Five Iron Frenzy
