A Day That Will Go Down in History

So I turned 21 today. It wasn't too bad-in fact, it was good. Sara called me at 7:20 this morning ALLLLLLL the way from Deutschland-wow that makes me feel special! Mama Bunny said I was 12, I got sung to by around 12-13 lovely ladies in Instruments of the Band and Orchestra this morning, Mama Bunny led another solfege serenade by my friends to me in the lobby, and I was sung to again in Form and Analysis with Dr. Hodson doing a jazz improv on the piano. Dr. Richmond even had everyone in Conducting Techniques sing to me yesterday while conducting a three pattern (watch that rebound!) Today he told me in my lesson that I am getting old.

Yup, I didn't celebrate with alcohol today. I've been there, done that (refer back to Europe Post No. 3 for more details). I celebrated with birthday cake! I got a birthday cake from Third Reformed Church again, and this time Public Relations happened to be nearby. Since they very rarely catch someone in the act of receiving a cake, I got my picture taken with the lady and her cute children right before the dedication ceremony of the new wing in Cook Hall.

It was also a day of historical events. Today, the Japanese celebrated the birth of a new prince, who is now third in the line of succession to the emperor's throne. And today was the day that everyone revolted against the Facebook. Check it out-TIME already picked up the story online.
