Lord, the Hokies need You
I don't know anyone that goes to Virginia Tech. A couple of family members on Dad's side graduated from there, but overall I really don't have much connection to the school. But regardless, my heart aches for the students, faculty, staff, and families connected to that institution. Maybe it's because I'm a college student, too. Or maybe it's because it's in Virginia; I think it'll always bother me because of my roots there. I proudly call myself a troll in the Wolverine state, but I do feel a certain sense of belonging in the Old Dominion's Shenandoah Valley.
I pray that people at Virginia Tech will still look to Christ as their hope through this tragedy and that somehow, in some way, that He would be magnified. They REALLY need You right now, Lord.
