Welcome Back to Peaceful Acres!
Well, after being away from it nine months, the Major General Music returned to his beloved workplace, Peaceful Acres Resort! He was happily greeted by the coworkers and is proud to announce he begins working in, well, a little less than ten hours. It is good to have a job lined up for the summer. Hunting unsuccessfully for months and then having a boring as, well, you know, job with rude coworkers who smoke like chimneys and unbelievably hot working conditions just doesn't hack it with the Major General Music. Thank you to the Angela for persistently pestering him to paint. This time the summer will involve more painting, maybe chinking, and this year... the BEDROOMS! That is right, the Major General Music comes for more fun on Saturdays where he and the Angela will team up, quickly and efficiently strip down (the beds of course-get those dirty minds out of the gutters!), and put them all back together. He forecasts the two of them will make a good team.

In other news, the Major General Music now has a library of video games on his computer and spends his leisure time beating up pixelated little characters with pixelated boxing gloves. It is frustrating until he gets the TKO and knocks the little pixelated characters' little pixelated Chicklet teeth out! And Blue Like Jazz is a good book. Go read it.

I just read Blue Like Jazz last week. It was pretty good, I felt like it could have used a little more polishing. It was a pretty simple message, but I do like the way that the author wrote it, it made it a fun read.

I think the simplicity is part of what makes the book different than other literature on spirituality.

Mostly Matthew does the stripping you know. We'll just be making, and umm... having fun with (not in) beds!
