What is an Ocean Camel? This is why the Major General Music is glad he has have weird friends. This is an excerpt of a conversation with Pete. One of his talents has to be the ability to make up something on the fly and run with it. He may have revealed a little secret which could save THOUSANDS on the Major General Music's trip to Europe, provided he and his family can catch these beasts, Camelus oceanus-the ocean camel!
Pete: where am i?
Major_General_Music: abu dhabi!
Major_General_Music: you're in abu dhabi!
Pete: AHA! I knew it!
Major_General_Music: but HOW did you get there?
Pete: I rode a camel
Major_General_Music: across the ocean?
Pete: ummmm yeah
Major_General_Music: are you sure?
Pete: yup!
Pete: you have never ridden an ocean camel?
Major_General_Music: tell me about an ocean camel
Major_General_Music: i am interested
Major_General_Music: perhaps it would be cheaper for getting to europe than flying in a big metal tweetybird
Pete: well, they are camels. with the humps and everything, but they swim. and are quite fast.
Pete: mostly they move by using their hump, not sure how it works exactly
Major_General_Music: are you sure?
Pete: no I just said I am not sure
Major_General_Music: where can i find an ocean camel?
Pete: they are all over the place. we have three in our living room right now. you just have to look.
Major_General_Music: i may have to come see these since you have have some at your house
Pete: I am sure you have some at yours too
Pete: you just have to look
Major_General_Music: in the wardrobe?! behind the fur coats?!
Pete: possibly!
Major_General_Music: shoot, we don't have a wardrobe
Major_General_Music: just regular run-of-the-mill closets
Major_General_Music: the attic's too dusty and filled with boxes for ocean camels to survive
Pete: well look in the front yard first
Major_General_Music: ah-HA, maybe it's the ocean camels that have been eating our holly bushes!
Major_General_Music: my dad thought it was the deer
Major_General_Music: maybe it was the ocean camels
Pete: it could have been
Pete: just LOOK for them
