The Angela Adventures Saga: The beginning...

So yeah, I've spent about a week now during the day with the Angela, doing what needs to be done around the Peaceful Acres Resort, which has amounted to a lot of painting in the cabins (and also staining the beadbord walls in No. 12, AKA the infamous A-frame).

It all starts basically the same way. It's likely raining and quite cool or just plain gloomy outside and the Angela calls my headquarters somewhere close to the tenth hour, demanding my assistance with her efforts. My reaction time varies, sometimes where I immediately jump in the car and dodge the potholes on Jagger Road and cross to Lakeshore and then Piney Ridge, or where I'll give checks to the credit uion, cameras to Wal-Mart's photo department, and buy gas. Or if I'm lucky, I'll find the Angela in the paint department at Wal-Mart, where she will lethargically woof at me.

I won't include all the adventures in this first post, but the first one basically involved going out in the rain several times between the final bedroom and basement hallway in cabin number 16 and the big living room in 15, where we painted the all walls our favorite color, "Buttercup Petal." This inspired the Angela to forever call me her "little Buttercup Petal" and where I named her my special "Paint Booger." This is also where the Major General Music was first learned in the ways of roller painting and discovered the joys that are called "paint boogers!"
