No more cottage white and butter yellow!

We're done. Jordan and I finished painting the house and I almost did cartwheels when we got home. Nik surprised me on the phone-always good to hear from friends when you don't expect it. However, I'm not sure if my voice provided any inspiration for artistic painting-I'll decide if I was inspiring when I see the mural (I'm sure it looks great, bro). And the fireworks tonight impressed me. For a "rinkydink" city like Ludington, they were pretty cool. And the fireworks crew is a fun bunch of people-lots of bantering, exchanged sarcasm, and laughing at old jokes that we think are still funny. 'Twas a good day.
