Carl Orff, Erik Erikson, J.R.R. Tolkien, & Samuel Barber
Before the Angela and the Becky and other readers accuse me of being a neglectful blogger once again, this time my Xanga serves as a place to voice relief...
  • Carl Orff: Elementary Music Methods has to be one of the most enjoyable classes in the lineup this semester. Where else can I sing little children songs, run and dance around the room, & play Orff instruments like back in fifth grade?
  • Erik Erikson & J.R.R. Tolkien: despite the scariness of it all, presentation of the Erikson Metaphor was a success, and a resounding one at that based on my classmates' responses. Now to watch the dreaded videotape... ugh.
  • Samuel Barber: today Prof. Wolfe aka Prof. "Ponk" held a mini-recital for her Introduction to Music class. I happily agreed to sing in this recital and not only had a chance to get back into the performing swing of things and concert credit, but also had a wonderful time and act all "intelligent" for the non-music people in the audience.
Weekends are truly wonderful things. Now if only I didn't have so much work staring me in the face.

Not much to say about this here post-other then that it is about time you put something up here. I almost said something earlier but I was giving you just a couple more days before I really pounced.
