An Early Christmas Present

This semester was difficult. I've never had more than one four-credit class at a time, and this time, I had two of them amidst a nineteen-hour credit load. I had resigned myself to maybe taking a punch in the face on my transcript, and exams had further cemented that feeling.

Grades were due today at the Registrar's office, so I took the odd chance that maybe grades might be posted sometime this evening.

They were.

And wow, I found a wonderful surprise. Despite some of the most challenging exams I've ever taken, completely new material, a considerable workload, and a LOT of frustration at various points, I posted the best semester of my career at Hope this semester. I'm still not entirely sure how that happened, but I guess it's a good reminder that God's still holding on to the world at ALL times, and that good things can still come from seemingly bad scenarios.

God blesses us, even though we don't deserve it. And man, am I thankful for that.

Tyler!
Hey, I just read the comments that you left on my site. I missed the one from a few days ago, but hopefully I will remember to give you a call in the near future. Thank you so much for your comments, I can't tell you how much they mean. You are a great encourager, and a true bible stud. What you said really helped me out.
I hung out with Ross a little tonight, and we played a game that you apparently taught him. It's the one where you throw an object behind your head and try to clap at the moment when it hits the ground. It was pretty entertaining, although I don't think we anounced a clear winner. Alright, well I hope that your Christmas was great! How is everything by the way?

ps-I saw you on national television.
