I've been tagged... again...

So the DeVos Musical Showcase was pretty sweet. Details (and pictures) will follow because they're not available yet. Plus I have plenty of other stuff to write about. In the meantime, enjoy this entry.

You've been tagged. So here it goes...delete my answers, replace with your own and send it back to me and on to other friends!

Four jobs you have had in your life:
1. Resort staff, which means among other things, painter, cabin chinker (if you think I'm slandering folks of Asian descent, go look up "chink" at Dictionary.com), wall stainer, grass cutter, beach cleaner (there's a lot of seaweed out there), and other random stuff. I'll probably do it again. We get to drive garf carts, eat popsicles and macaroni & cheese, and go swimming! Oh, and the bonus: occasionally we had the joy of listening to people talk about their health problems, including navigational difficulties on staircases and bladder control issues! Just ask the Angela.
2. Packer - the most boring job in the world, which was putting a prescribed number of screws/bolts or other small objects into a plastic bag, pushing the button on the machine to seal them, and packing them in boxes. I worked next to a paint oven and sweated nonstop for eight hours except when I'd take breaks. None more, thanks.
3. Dishwasher - NEVER AGAIN WILL I DO THAT JOB. It wasn't fun constantly scalding my hands, occasionally getting sliced up by something sharp, truly burned by something hot, or stung by the soap bricks touching my wounded hands. Nope, not doing that again.
4. Random lawn mowing jobs - I've even done one in a thunderstorm.

Four movies you would watch over and over:
1. This answer is cheating - The Lord of the Rings (all of them)
2. Big Trouble
3. Maverick
4. Monty Python and the Holy Grail

Four places you have lived:
1. Ludington, MI
2. Holland, MI (only during school)
3.
4.

Four TV shows you love to watch:
1. Scrubs
2. Whose Line Is it Anyway?
3. Are You Being Served? (it's an older British comedy that you'd likely not appreciate)
4. I Love Lucy - yes, it is funny and you know it. There's a reason it dominated the ratings for around ten years.

Four places you've been on vacation:
1. Ireland and England (one vacation)
2. Branson, MO
3. Various places in Canada including Toronto and Niagara Falls
4. New Jersey - they have some pretty sweet beaches there and I have a pretty sweet family out there

Four websites I visit daily:
1. Knowhope (this would be hyperlinked except only Hope students have access)
2. Facebook
3. Xanga
4. The Hunger Site/The Animal Rescue Site

Four of my favorite foods:
1. Dad's Christmas prime rib
2. Dad's Thanksgiving turkey
3. Dad's homemade ice cream
4. Dad's homemade macaroni & cheese (can you tell I love my dad's cooking?)

Four places I would rather be right now:
1. At my church (good ol' Cornerstone Baptist)
2. In my house, with my family and three kittycats
3. Germany or Austria
4. Ireland or Hawaii are tempting

Four friends I am tagging that I think will respond.....
1. I'm not tagging anyone. If they read my Xanga, perhaps they will follow suit.

Comments(3)

It is hard to limit some of these things to only four. I'm not going to fill one of these out on xanga since I already have but I have to say that cheese is one of the best foods ever, and also some of these things vary at least daily for me.

Where do I want to be now? Home- we're getting new couches today.

Cheese is indeed an excellent food but it usually needs to be with something else to magnify its power (such as macaroni & cheese). Mmm.

No cheese is its own power. The cheese stands alone! Cheese is good all alone whereas macaroni is not so great plain.
