Soundtrack to my Movie

Okay, so I found this on someone else's blog. It's an experiment on what the soundtrack to a movie about my life would be. Knowing me, my life's genre no doubt would be something weird, like silent, or film noir, or even worse, slasher. Okay, maybe not that last one.

So, here's how it works:
1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc)
2. Put it on shuffle, for every question, type the song that's playing
3. Press play
4. When you go to a new question, press the next button
5. Don't lie and try to pretend you're cool...

Opening Credits
China Gates - John Adams (well, I was born in the post-tonal era, after all)

Waking Up
Symphonie Fantastique: IV-March au Supplice - Hector Berlioz (wow, that's REALLY morbid)

First Day At School
Symphony No. 1 in E-flat: I-Allegro Molto - Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (okay, first symphony and first movement = beginning)

Falling in Love
Concerto in A: I-Allegro - Antonio Vivaldi (sweet)

Fight Song
Resonet in Laudibus - C.L. Alwes (that is NOT a fight song)

Breaking Up
Condite Alme Siderum: Improvisation - Gregorian Chant (I never knew Gregorian Chant was so sappy?)

Prom
Symphony No. 5 in B-flat: II-Andante - Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (wow, that must be a sad prom)

Life is Good
Wachet Auf, Ruft Uns die Stimme: I-Wachet Auf - Johann Sebastian Bach (why isn't this my waking up music?)

Mental Breakdown
Symphony No. 38 in D ("Prague"): I-Adagio - Allegro - Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Mozart always was a weird one)

Driving
Don Carlos: Spunato Ecco Il Di - Giuseppe Verdi (driving to Italian opera... hmm)

Flashback
Locus Iste - Anton Bruckner (flashback music? really?)

Getting Back Together
Du Bist Die Ruth - Franz Schubert (I have nothing to add)

Wedding
Symphony No. 6 in F: I-Allegro - Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (I never knew there'd be an orchestra at my wedding)

Birth of a Child
And the Child Grew - Randall Thompson (are you SERIOUS?!?!)

Final Battle
Symphony No. 33 in B-flat: IV-Finale. Allegro Assai - Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (awfully restrained for a final battle)

Death Scene
Carmina Burana: I-O Fortuna - Carl Orff (that's REALLY creepy)

Funeral Song
Sonata for Piano No. 24 in F-sharp: II-Allegro Vivace (dang it, Beethoven didn't put the marcia funebre in THIS one!)

End Credits
Swan Lake: Act IV, Scene 18: Dance of the Little Swans (wow, ballet?)
