I've Been Tagged by the Angela!!!!Okay, so I was going to post about my interesting experiences at the ACDA conference at Calvin College but I guess that can wait till tomorrow since the conference didn't end until today anyway and I've saved the interesting stuff. I've been blog-tagged so it's time to play by the rules.
Rules of the game:
Post 5 WEIRD and RANDOM facts about yourself then at the end of the list put the names of 6 people who are next in line to do this. Also leave a comment on their Xanga to let them know.
Okay, here we go... these may reflect my music geekyness but that's not important right now. Those who know me will be more interested.
1. People have listened to me on the radio. I sang in a jingle for the United Way back when I was a freshman at Ludington High School. I had the fun experience of working in a sound studio for three hours! And Jordan thought HE was the only one who experienced that joy...
2. I CAN sing baritone. Let's be honest-my voice has naturally been high. I could sing Christine's part in the song "The Phantom of the Opera" all the way to the highest note without flinching until I was out of 8th grade. I sang alto in 7th and 8th grade. Even when my voice dropped, I sang tenor all the way through high school. I still sing tenor now. I thought I was a tenor II but Dr. Richmond, my voice teacher, told me I'm "a shy tenor I" and that I have an "unnaturally high chest range." Despite that, I can sing baritone, particularly when it's early in the morning and when I'm not feeling well. Scary that I can sing bass I, isn't it?
3. I'm only in my second year of voice lessons. My freshmen in my Orientation group didn't believe me. In a way, it was a handicap, but in other ways, it made Dr. Richmond happy that he had a completely fresh student to work with who had no bad habits incoming.
4. I aced my road test and didn't get my driver's license until I was almost 19. Don't you go calling me a liar. Strange circumstances that I had no control over directly affected when I could and could not drive and thus, I was a well-seasoned driver (with my parents at my side) when I took my road test. I had my license JUST in time to drive myself to work at Metalworks (BLEAGH!) and right before I left for Hope College. SURPRISE!
5. I enjoy riding roller coasters. Even though I didn't ride them at Cedar Point this past summer (which cost me 23 points according to Pete), I enjoy the thrills of riding them. I might appear to be a total scaredy cat with a lot of things that are less menacing like juries and exams, I love those roller coasters!
New targets:
1. Steven
2. Erin
3. Amy
4. Ben
5. Brian
6. Katie

Rollar coasters not so much the goodness for me. Sorry you missed out on coasters to chill with me in the water park- but that was a personal sacrifice on your part so I give you 25 pts which puts you back in the positive.chickenlittle27
I got my license when I was 18... but I failed it the first time lol.
