Jitters and Roadtrips
I'm getting those back-to-school jitters again. They really kicked in after I finished my last day at the resort today. It's always so tough to leave that place, even if I work my brains out there. The jitters aren't fun, because I feel like I'm back in junior high or high school with all this unstable emotion that I consistently fail to explain to anyone who asks. I like it too much at home, and I like it too much at Hope, too. Not fun.
Thankfully, I have this wonderful-sounding trip north with Nate & Caitlin to be excited about for now. It's going to be sweet to see Nik, his family, and all his artwork. The prevailing theme this summer has been friendly visits, and it's been wonderful. Hmm, let's look back at all those.
1. Nate, Mark, Ross, Mr. Daab and my students, Dr. Richmond & Dr. Randel in Marne/Coopersville/Holland
2. Nate, Mark, Ross, Mr. Daab and my students & Mr. DeBoer in Marne/Coopersville/Holland (again, all of two days later...)
3. Ross, Maren, Chad & Ashley in Onekama (at Portage Lake)
4. Nate, Jon, Tim, Ryan, Caitlin, Morgan, Laura, Noah, Kristen, Steven, Joanna & everyone at Engedi in Holland
5. Ben comes to Ludington
6. Ross comes to Ludington
7. The New Jersey Invasion to Ludington
Soon I'll add an eighth! Here we come, northern Michigan!
