"He eyes the flag carefully and TAKES A BIG SWING! That golf ball is GONE!"

Supposedly Memorial Day marks the unofficial arrival of summer. That has been the case in 2006-an enormous thunderstorm on Sunday morning, over 90 degrees plus high humidity today, and it's not even June yet. It even was a day of summer activity for the Major General Music-out digging in the dirt, ripping up old rotten railroad ties and cutting a great big circle for a new flower bed with the Viking Brother & Father Figure. It was frustrating and took too long and created many much tension, but there were points of amusement. It involved whacking the dirt off the old ties with a miniature sledge hammer. That's just awesome because sledge hammers are awesome. It involved playing with a pickaxe as well and pickaxes are also awesome. The Major General Music later demonstrated his ability in finding amusement in everyday objects. As the Father Figure bought 60 dollars worth of bricks at The Home Depot (did you know they actually capitalize "The?"), the Major General Music demonstrated to the Viking Brother how to play golf with a shovel, complete with commentary from the talking heads and then taking a big swing. The passing old people wearing their goofy seniorcitizenwear in search of cheap flowers looked nettled as any self-respecting grumpy old people would, which only further amused the Major General Music.

In addition, he discovered the wonderfulness of arcade emulators. They let you play video games as poorly as you like and still let you win. How cool is that?! You can get blown up in MetalSlug a zillion times and still get the last laugh! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!
