Now Spring Is in the Air Again
This is the first stanza is from the "Madrigal Of Spring."
Now spring is in the air again, and
All the world is fair again,
Gone is winter’s blinding snow,
Washed away in April rain,
Washed away in April rain,
Gone the icy winds that blow,
Suddenly turn warm and gentle,
By the soft, sweet breath of spring
This is a little premature because it's not actually May yet, but who doesn't love "Now is the Month of Maying," really?
Now is the month of Maying,
When merry lads are playing, fa la la la la!
Each with his bonny lass,
A-dancing on the grass, fa la la la la!
The Spring, clad all in gladness,
Doth laugh at Winter's sadness, fa la la la la!
And to the bagpipes' sound,
The nymphs tread out their ground, fa la la la la!
Fie! Then why sit we musing,
Youth's sweet delight refusing, fa la la la la!
Say, dainty nymphs, and speak!
Shall we play barley break, fa la la la la!
I love spring and I love sunshine!

Lessons From A Sun-Dial
Ignore dull days; forget the showers;
Keep count of only shining hours.
