Time's Up!

Another field placement over. My third semester in Education, once again with Holland Public Schools, is officially over.

It was hard, and the nonstop talking that I had to fight in the classroom was almost unbearable at times. But I sure loved teaching those students a new song. It was a lot fun. I just hope that the love of Christ shone through what I did in the classroom. That matters to me way more than if they learn "Danny Boy."

Something I forgot to mention: I did make them laugh with a movie reference during our last run through the piece. Just a few of the singers came in early before I cued them on the word "so" right at the end, so it sounded like hissing. They quickly stopped and I said, "Wait for it..." and then nearly fell over when I realized I just said that. They laughed.
